Angela is an award-winning fitness instructor and coach who has been in the fitness industry for over 30 years and is not slowing down anytime soon! Angela raised two beautiful daughters with her husband, while running a business and being constantly on the go in her fitness career. She understands the challenges of balancing responsibilities with personal fitness and wellness and wants to help women like her do just that! Angela lives with her family in Manitoba, CANADA, where some winter days are said to get 'colder than Mars' and the beautiful summer days are filled with golf whenever she can!

My Story

Growing up, I was not athletic AT ALL and though I didn't really have a 'weight' problem, like many young girls, I was very self-conscious of my body and felt I was overweight. When I started university, my freshman 15 (more like 30), lead me to try group fitness classes. Not only did I lose the extra weight, I quickly became so obsessed that I became a fitness instructor myself! Since fitness was my job, I was always able to out-exercise MOST of my weight problems. But like most women, my weight would still fluctuate, including topping out at over 200 lbs on my petite 5'3" frame with my first pregnancy. Each time, I would get to the top weight threshold I set for myself, and would jump on the 'latest and greatest' diet. Still, no matter how much I exercised, which was A LOT, I could never seem to get to my 'ultimate' weight or even maintain my weight.

When Covid hit and all the gyms closed, my fitness career and workout routine came to a screeching halt. Despite this, I was lucky enough to have access to enough equipment and, with my knowledge and other resources, was able to keep myself moving. I thought I was doing pretty well until I decided to step on a scale one day....my weight had crept PAST my threshold.....somewhere I hadn't been since after the birth of my last baby who was now 20! I suddenly felt like that young university student again. I was HEAVY on the scale and LIGHT on confidence. HOW was I going to put a mic on my head and stand up in front of everyone again when the gyms reopened, looking and feeling the way I did!? Something had to change and QUICK! I knew it was time to figure out this weight loss thing once and for all!

I started by looking at my previous weight loss efforts, and started to notice that as 'diets' always do, my focus had been on all the things I 'couldn't' or 'shouldn't' have or do. You know as well as I do, that as soon as you can't have something, you want it more!! I started to add things to my diet and routine and quickly learned that when I focused on the 'should-dos', instead of depriving myself, weight loss was painless and dare I say easy. l also learned that focusing on nourishing my body in every way, including working out smarter (not MORE or HARDER) was the key to getting my healthiest, best bod, from the inside, out! The results were even better than I imagined!! I peeled off those pandemic pounds and began to look lean and sculpted.

I have dedicated 30 years to helping people through their fitness journeys.
